Seasonal Pitches

We offer two types of Seasonal pitch at Wareham Forest, a full Seasonal pitch, from the beginning of March to the end of October, and a Semi-Seasonal Pitch, which excludes the Summer High Season Period. We have set up our Seasonal Pitches in a slightly different way to some Parks, in that we charge a lower pitch fee initially for the caravan and awning, and then have a daily charge for the number of occupants and extras based on the normal rate card tariff for that time of the year. We would normally expect caravans to be used for at least five to six weeks in a season.

The Pitches are all Hard Standing, with a variety of sizes and outlooks, located in their own relaxing area of the Park (which can be seen on the plan of the park). Many guests return year after year to enjoy the tranquillity of our Park, arranging to meet their friends during the summer, and sending each other Christmas Cards at home over the winter!

As a guide, our charges for the Pitch for 2012 are:

SEASONAL PITCH: £1925.00

1^st March - 31^st October

SEMI-SEASONAL PITCH: £1320.00

1^st March - 12^th July, then 1^st September - 31^st October

Storage is available if required between 12^th July and 1^st September at normal storage rates. Semi-Seasonal pitches have TV, water and drainage Hookup points.

All the Seasonal Pitches are very popular, and we have enquiries throughout the year for the few pitches that come available each season. We do tend to offer them firstly to people that have their caravan in storage with us, or are making good use of the Park already on a regular basis, so that they know what we have to offer before making a large commitment, but we do have flexibility with this policy. A small deposit is normally required in September, and then the balance payable by the end of October of the preceding year. Storage and caravan moving facilities are available in between the seasons at normal rate card tariffs, so many of our guests do not even have an expensive tow car, as their caravans are delivered direct to the Park.

Why not come and stay with us and enjoy the ambiance, see all the delights the World Famous Jurassic Coastline and the Purbecks have to offer, and explore the local forest and heathland walks, some of which, for example the Sika Trail, are accessible directly from the Park.
