1/2 mile down the road (sadly not child friendly!) Wareham however
is only a few minutes drive away with many restaurants and pubs,
and further afield in Dorchester, Blandford, Poole & Bournemouth
are many more restaurants, pubs and take-aways plus cinemas, shops
and attractions.

Walking/Cycling: There is everything from a 5 minute to 5 hour walks/cycle trails from the park itself. Bike hire is also available locally.
Beaches: The nearest sandy beaches are at Swanage & Studland and also Sandbanks (Poole), 25 - 30 minutes away. Nearer still is the famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Fishing: We are not far for Coarse Fishing ( www.pallatrax.co.uk ), Fly Fishing ( www.goflyfishing.co.uk ) and Sea Fishing,
